San Diego

In July David, me and the girls spent a week in San Diego. It is one of my favorite places to go anyway, but this is the first time we have taken any of the kids. David was going there for the NEA convention and we tagged along for the ride.

It was Addison's 1st plane ride and she was so excited. She absolutely loved it.

Most days, we just hung out at the pool while David was in meetings, but the girls didn't seem to mind......

We took a boat ride out on the bay for 2 hours. It was beautiful.

David's birthday was on July 3rd. We were able to get great seats at the San Diego Padres game. They played the Dodgers and ended up losing 6-3. Great game, great friends and a whole lot of funny hats.

Summer Vacations

This summer we spent 2 weeks and drove back to visit our Eastern family in Maryland. Andy and Carlie drove with us on the way there and we visited Niagra Falls before finishing our journey there at Deep Creek Lake, Maryland.

The funnest part of Niagra Falls was going down to the Cave of Winds. We all looked like a bunch on bananas, but it was awesome.

The most important part of the trip was spending time with family. This is a picture of my Grandfather, his 5 kids and their families. This is the first time in 20 years we've all been together.

Introducing the Millward 6

I'm new a this blog thing, but love to look at my family and friends blogs, so I decided to take a stab at it.

David and I have been married for over 16 years (HOLY COW!) and have 4 beautiful children.

Isaac, or Cody, as he goes by his middle name, is 13 and is introducing us to the wonderful world of the teenager. He will be starting 8th grade this fall. He is a very smart kid who enjoys video games and computers. He indulges us by playing football every fall and does pretty well at it. Above all else, he is a great kid and super cute too.

Brianna, 10, comes next and is becoming a beautiful young woman. She is a straight A student who loves to play sports, dance and occasionally going shopping (when I drag her with me). She is currently playing on the Grantsville All-Star softball team. She'll start 5th grade in August

Addison, 6, is our proverbial princess. She loves to primp in front of the mirror and try on clothes. She is very creative and can be found drawing or coloring for hours by herself. She takes Gymnastics and will be starting dance this fall. She also starts 1st grade in September and is excited to take school lunch.

Mckay, 4, comes in last. I don't know how to describe him other than the way his babysitter does it, Determined, Dominate and Decisive. Mckay is our little football player for sure and he loves Dinosaurs, sharks, basically anything dangerous. He is the family bully and can beat the heck out of any of us, but he is also very sweet and a definite daddy's boy.

Our family has lived in Grantsville for the last 13 years and are very happy. Our greatest joy is the time we spend together.
